Old games to play if you have nothing left
Old games that still offer Replay Value
There are still a few games out there that I would consider to play even in 2018 with great games that recently came out like Far Cry 5 and Darkest dungeon ( Officially on Console) that still offer great Replay value. These games are getting Remastered or they have been but here is some of those games that I recommend and some may still be playing them. I will have a total of 5 games that I believe are replayable and enjoyable to any gamer that likes a challenge or even a time waster.
The Top 5 List of games
Starting off at Number one, I would have to say the Dark souls series and Demon Souls. There is so many different ways to play the game and even after completion, New game + makes it enjoyable to replay the game a second time and learn from your previous mistakes. The main thing about the Soul series that makes them so wonderful is the character creation and there are no limits to creating a character. If you are wanting to create a thief and later on give him magic, it is possible and have a hybrid character to play with in the game. The overall reason why gamers play a game so difficult is the challenges it provides and buddy system which allows you to fight bosses with allies. You can play the Soul series on consoles and PC and soon Dark Souls will get remastered to Next-gen Consoles.
Next, we have our Fallout series and what I will be using for this is Fallout 4 (Next-gen consoles/PC) and Fallout 3 ( previous gen consoles/PC). The Fallout series offer a multitude of actions that can be done with quests that may change the outcome of the story and your character as well. If you commit various infamous crimes, it will change how the NPC's view you and may affect your quests in the future as well. When talking of the Fallout series, these games offer great story and no matter how many times you may play the games, they still offer the famous quote of " War never changing".
Third, we have our Mario series and the newest Mario game offers the best replay value. The reason being is that even after collecting the moons needed to beat the game, if you collect even more moons needed then you may get the secret ending when you defeat bowser. Mario Odyssey offers a variety of worlds to be explored and by doing so, it creates an emotion within the game and makes the gamer love the character Mario even more. Any Mario game as well can be placed here as well because come on, who does not like Mario.
The next one I will place on here is Binding of Isaac as there is many times after beating this title I find myself playing it again. Reason as to why I continue to play such a sadistic game is because of the unlocks you may get for other characters and each level will not be the same. What makes this one a lower tier game than the top three is the fact that It is very short and often times can be played in less than an hour and that will satisfy one's need to play a game.
My final option for this list is Minecraft and this is the lowest-tier as it can get old (for myself in this case) fairly quick. This sandbox game allows you to not be restricted by rules or quests, you can do anything you want to in the game. What is making the game stand out less for myself is mods and player models. I would love to have mods in this game to make Minecraft less draft and create my own player models however that is my opinion of course. I am referring to Minecraft on Console by the way as I know PC can have these done in a nutshell and well it is PC and PC can do anything related to Minecraft.

This list concludes the Top 5 games that have high replay value and what I prefer to choose when I am in need of a game to play at the moment. You are more than welcome to comment your favorite in the comments and as always stay gaming.
