Final Fantasy 15: Royal Edition truly spectacular?

What is the hype for Final Fantasy 15?

If you are looking for a team that provides fantastic story telling and great emotional connections with the characters then Final Fantasy will be the game for your taste. The Final Fantasy series have always provided great gameplay and in-depth stories within their games and make their fans feel emotionally attached to certain characters. Originally called Squaresoft now called SquareEnix, the company has an astounding team that connects with their fans and explain a story within games to make their game worthwhile. Back on track with Final Fantasy 15 (I will use FF15 for short), the game starts off with our four heroes escorting the Prince Noctis and travelling across Eos when suddenly they find out the Empire (A rival Nation) has claimed their hometown and the king has fallen. There is a more in-depth story on the matter which is the movie Kingsglaive that explains the events that occurred in the kingdom of Lucis and how it fell. From the findings of what had occurred in the Kingdom, Noctis along with Prompto, Ignis, and Gladio set out to find Lunafreya (Noctis' fiancée) in hopes of finding more information on the events in Lucis and stopping the empire from taking over Eos.

 The Gameplay and how unique it is

I am no stranger to Final Fantasy games and was used to having turned-based combat however FF15 changes that completely. The way that makes the combat so unique is that it is no longer turned-based combat as it is now realistic combat meaning that the fights occur real-time which adds an interesting change in the Final Fantasy series. From this change, it surely has added a twist on combat and allows for a more intense combat scenario and best of all, your companions fight as well and no longer need commands to attack which is fantastic in its own way. If players enjoy the old fashioned combat, there is a Wait Mode where you can experience that same turn-based combat and have a feel for it and it does not change gameplay one bit as it can be useful at times to assess situations with bosses or even normal combat that may occur in your adventures. Best part to playing the game while advancing your characters is that you can acquire new equipment to further enhance your abilities and become stronger in your battles. There is always some ways to change your gameplay and make your battles easier when you fight and enjoy the sceneries of Eos in your Regalia (Vehicle used to travel).

What makes it differ from other games?

 The number one thing that makes this game stand out is the astounding story, Fantastic combat system, Events that occur in time, and lastly activities to side track on such as fishing, cooking, and photography. It is no wonder how the game is to be considered the greatest game to develop a relation with the gamer and make one feel the emotions of Noctis. I will say this and try not to spoil the game too much but there is one part of the game that you fight an enormous boss and become an absolute badass and trust me when I say that I got chills and Goosebumps when this occurred. The part that had myself enamored into the game at that point was the intense music that was playing and the boss fight that was going on, I have never felt that feeling in a long time since Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. If you are someone who longs for enjoyment in games and longevity in your game then I would recommend this game over any other one as it will add so much fantastic memories. Final Fantasy 15 released in November 29th of 2016 and now has a new edition known as the Royal Edition which adds more gameplay to the game itself and includes the DLC which explains a few more key elements not explained in the main story itself.
