Great Games that are coming in 2018

There is bunch of game launches that will be happening later in the year so we figured we talk about them. It is without a doubt going to a good year for video-games as these games are making fans lose their mind. Here are just a few games that we believe will absolutely destroy 2018 and make gamers enjoy their day. If you see games that are not listed, be sure to comment some down below so we can all discuss this manor and get excited for 2018 game releases and without further ado, let us begin the five games that we are excited for as of late.

  1.  Super Smash Bros. (Nintendo Switch):
If there was one game that every Nintendo owner has in their collection, hands down it is Smash Bros. and it is without a doubt the best there is. Super Smash Bros. or SSMB (as I will use it) is a very great beat em' up brawler with Nintendo Characters battling it out for the number 1 spot. The most enjoyable part about this game is hosting parties with your friends and family and showing off your skills. When Nintendo had announced that it was coming to the Nintendo Switch, it set a huge bar that Nintendo will, without a doubt, overcome like butter on toast. The Switch console has everything that it needs to make SSMB a fantastic game and reasoning behind this is the portability that the Switch offers and updated online features that it will have when the game launches. This is most definitely on everyone's "To Buy List" and if it is not on yours, you most definitely should get it if you own a Nintendo Switch. Here is a Parody video that shows off the character line-up that this gamer believes SSMB will have and he is my personal favorite as well VideogameDunkey.

  2. Kingdom Hearts 3:
From the dawn of time, Kingdom Hearts has been a game that left fans satisfied and the company Square Enix does a great job in involving each world with the characters. Starting off from the first has our character Sora, a Keyblade wielder, who goes from Disney themed worlds to seal the door that lets the Darkness (otherwise known as Heartless). The greatest thing about the game is the different worlds you visit and help solve problems that the world visited has and what makes it iconic is that the people you help are often Disney Character such as Aladdin, Beast, and the game even includes Final Fantasy Characters. Square Enix has been known to make ideal games that appeal to the Players and if they nail this one, it will definitely set a record for them as it is the most anticipated game yet. There is a short video on the announcement video and you can see the amount of effort the company is taking to make sure that not a small detail is missed and that everything is made to look like its themed world.

  3. Overkill's The Walking Dead:
Everyone has their own idea of the "End of the World" and it usual involves zombies/Nuclear Warfare and with the Walking Dead, Overkill takes it a step further with the zombies. The Walking Dead is famous for deep story-telling and problems involving Humans and even zombies where survival is necessary to not get bit. It is very hard to say what Overkill will add to make it different from your standard zombie game so it will be interesting to see how the company that made Payday/Payday 2 will change that. If I had to guess in what their game may have, it would be a horde mode or an Open-World survival (Really hoping on Open-World Survival). Another thing that will be interesting is if they include characters from the main show like Rick Grimes or even Daryl Dixon (My Hero). It is hard to say what the game may have but we do have a rough idea of what it will include.

  4. Days Gone: This game is interesting in itself because even though it is a zombie apocalypse game, it seems to involve a "Sons of Anarchy" feel to it. It has many great things that make it different from other zombie games such as survival aspects along with a horde that chases you vs. one at a time. The main thing that made me want the game the most was breaching an area blocked off from zombies and having it attack a rogue settlement to limit their numbers in the group making your battle easier. If Sony did so well with God of War, I am a firm believer that they will make Days Gone just as good if not better. These are not your typical zombies as well as they are sound sensitive so if they hear the slightest noise, they will proceed to the area of origin. If you are a fan of survival apocalyptic games then I would recommend it.

  5.  Red Dead Redemption 2:
When it comes to Old West titles, Red Dead has the rest beat. Red Dead talks of a Cowboy John Marston, an old outlaw, who would steal from the rich and give to the poor. The Outlaw gang would do this to "maintain peace between the rich and poor" but in reality, it was causing a nuisance to the government. John Marston failed in his robbery and was left to die from his brother in arms and when he lived from his wounds, he gave up the outlaw life and decided it was high time to move on. What makes the follow-up game exciting is that John Marston is back however from what we can incur is that it is a game based on the past. It shows other Outlaws along with John Marston who come to do good/bad once again. Overall, it will be a game that RockStar Studios will be in high praise if done right like the other one. Be sure to stick around for our next blog and as always comment down below your list and your favorites.
