Xbox Games with Gold for May

Xbox One Games with Gold

Xbox has recently released information on the Games with Gold for May and honestly, it is a bit of a letdown in my opinion. This month was to be the uplifting chance for Xbox to announce some really good titles but sadly it has failed. The games shown are not bad to be honest however it would be better to see other titles than the ones listed. The picture that you will see shows the titles for May and again it is a bit disappointing and I will state my own reasons for each game.

Games with Gold Titles.

Digital Prices of the games

Starting off is two games for the Xbox One which are titles that are not really the greatest. Super Mega Baseball 2 may be a huge hit for sport fans but the game does not look like your typical Baseball game as it is a bit cartoonish. A few things that do make the game look interesting is the Hit system as there is a cursor that you align with the ball and the closer it is to the Hitbox, the better the power given to that ball. Another one that is interesting is changing the batting order and substituting your team members for stronger ones in your team.

The next title from the Xbox One collection is Metal Gear Solid V and it is a decent game at best. There is a ton of content that is missing from the game (for those who did not know) and the Online multiplayer is terrible. From the gaming perspective, it is great and story is very well written however there will be times that you will question what is the characters relevance and what happened to certain characters. Overall, the games that are from Xbox One are decent but could be better as you can most of the titles free from Game Pass.

Now onto the two Xbox 360 titles which I honestly have to say are not bad. I am fairly impressed with the two titles as they are both fun and are classics to say none the less. Streets of Rage is a Sega classic and is a really great beat em' up game that would relate to arcade games like Simpsons and TMNT. What I enjoy the most is the artwork and each character has a unique stat to them. Next is Vanquish which is a great title none the less. It has a ton of combat in it to make it very enjoyable and for being a shooter game, it has a really good story to it as well. One thing that stands out the most is the really awesome motions that the character does when going in/out of cover and enter turrets. For the Xbox 360, the titles are great and really promising so hopefully next month we get more great titles.

There are some titles that would have been better to see on the line-up then what was shown for Xbox One titles. Titles that would be great to see on the line-up are Evil Within, Wolfenstein, Slime Rancher, or even Final Fantasy. The games are relatively old and would bring some great reputation to Microsoft as these Xbox One X titles are not the greatest. What are some titles you would have like to see, be sure to comment and Follow for more blogs as well.
