Defiance 2050 Closed Beta Review

Defiance 2050 and the broad review:

Thanks to the team at Trion Worlds, I was able to get a Closed-Beta key to preview their game on Xbox One. The Closed-Beta occurred from April 27-29 and nothing seems more satisfying than this game. Defiance was out on the Xbox 360 and the MMO played fantastic with great graphics and did well in gameplay. It is similar to other Sci-fi Shooter games where you are fighting an alien race that is invading your planet so it does have similar aspects to other games out there. The thing that stands out the most for this game is its wide range of weaponry and large areas of the map. In Defiance 2050, there are huge differences between the old Defiance and the New one. These key changes I will include in the next section.

Defiance vs. Defiance 2050:

There are several differences that the old Defiance lacked and the new Defiance has now. It is obvious that the main thing would be a graphical change as the old game struggled with those crisp graphic that now the next-gen consoles can provide. The one thing that I would say is a bit disappointing is that it is the same game rehashed meaning everything is the same as before until you hit end game when everything will be different. While playing the beta, there is some things that need to be fixed (obviously) such as prompts and some graphic upgrades. The game is upgraded to play on next-gen however, it does show its age after playing for about 20 minutes. I am hoping that when the game releases that they will offer swords again because that was my selling point for this game. I can not comprehend how much money I had spent trying to get swords and different perks on them. Overall, the game is better than before and hopefully in full release, we can do raids in the Overworld.
